Maçãs no chão *Apples on the ground*

Bem, ontem não houve post, mas houve um acontecimento engraçado ;)

Começando quando cheguei a casa depois do trabalho, tinha feito na véspera uma espécie de cheesecake de manga (e digo espécie, porque como não usei queijo creme, ficou com consistência de mousse, mas não estava mau!), para levar para o lanche em casa de uma amiga!

E quando voltávamos para casa, passámos por uma macieira (que eu nunca tinha reparado antes e que estava carregada de maçãs) e havia imensas maçãs espalhadas pelo chão. Ora, aqui na Finlândia não é muito comum ver pessoas a apanhar coisas do chão, mas estava escuro e a choviscar e que se lixe!! Apanhei uma para experimentar! Tinha assim um aspecto "esquisito", mas levei-a para casa, lavei-a e apesar de ser um pouco enfarinhada sabia bem! Meio ácida e fresca... fiquei com vontade de ir apanhar mais!!! :D

E relativamente à comida, (óbvio!) que ainda ando a comer restos, a sopa de ervilha acabou, passei para o caldo verde, uma das lasanhas também acabou e tenho ainda mais ou menos metade do arroz.
 ;)

Resumindo, ainda não precisei do congelador e nem me lembro que avariou.

Well, no post yesterday, but happened something funny ;)

Started when I got home from work, the day before I had done this kind-of-mango-cheesecake (and I say kind-of because I did not use cream cheese, so it ended up being more like a mousse instead, but the taste was not bad at all!), to take for a snack at a friend's house!

When we were returning home, we came across an apple tree (which I haven't noticed it was there before and it was full of apple) and there were tons of apples scattered all over the ground. So here in Finland is not very common to see people picking up things from the ground, but it was dark and rain-ish and what the hell, I didn't care!! I picked one up to try it out! It had a "weird" look, but I took it home, washed it and it tasted good! Kind of sour and fresh... I felt like going back to the place and pick up some more apples!!! :D

And regarding the food, (obviously!) I still have leftovers, the pea soup is gone, I am now eating the cabbage (Caldo Verde) soup, one of the lasagnas also finished and we have left more or less half of the rice, still. ;)

To sum up, I still haven't need the freezer and I don't even remember it's broke.
